David Alonso Molina

Graduated in piano and violin at the Conservatorio Superior de Música “Joaquín Rodrigo” of Valencia. Bachelor’s Degree in Early Music at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague, with violin as main subject and natural trumpet as minor. Afterwards he obtained a Master’s Degree in violin and viola at the Early Music Department of the Hoogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht. Additionally he has done ensemble-singing studies. Further interest in historically informed pedagogy and bow-making.
He is a founding member of La Academia de los Nocturnos and Cantores Sancti Gregorii. He plays and sings with groups such as Les Esprits Animaux, Ensemble Odyssee, La Danserye, Musica Poetica, Toronto Classical Consort, Concerto d’Amsterdam, Bach Orchestra of the Netherlands, Concerto Barocco, Clarini Ensemble, Contrasto Armonico, Stile Galante, etc. He has toured all over Europe, Japan and Canada, performing in festivals like La Folle Journée, Ambronay, Ghent, Brugges, Dag van La Petite Band, Nüremberg, Calasparra, Fringe Utrecht and Sint-Truiden. He has recorded CD’s for Armonia Mundi, Pan Classics and Brilliant Classics.
